The concept of the ensemble is based on keeping folk performance traditions alive. It aims to study and showcase polyphonic masterpieces from various regions of Georgia, highlighting the country’s rich dialectal diversity. The group is dedicated to maintaining authenticity and syncretism by gathering young enthusiasts and experienced professional artists from all the regions of Georgia, incorporating traditional folk instruments, performing Perkhuli and folk dances in their original form, and, most importantly, promoting the tradition of Georgian chant.
