About
Nino Kasrelishvili is a 21-year-old pianist from Georgia. In 2024, she graduated from the Central Music School for Gifted Students named after Zakaria Paliashvili, studying under Manana Baratashvili. She was then admitted to the Tbilisi State Conservatoire named after Vano Sarajishvili.
Nino actively participates in concerts both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles, and she regularly takes part in festivals and competitions both in Georgia and abroad. She frequently performs with symphony orchestras as well. She has taken masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists such as Pascal Nemirovski, Hans-Jürg Strub, Pavel Nersessian, Kyomi Sugimura, Edisher Savitski, Dudana Mazmanishvili, Mariam Batsashvili, Vadim Palmov, among others.
Nino Kasrelishvili is a laureate of several international competitions, including:
- 1st Prize at the 3rd International Competition for Composers and Performers “Kogan’s Competition”
- 1st Prize at the International Eva-Iosif-Semyon Kogan Competition of Instrumental Performance
- 2nd Prize at the 2nd International Competition “Rondo Classica” named after Otar Taktakishvili
- Grand Prix and 1st Prize at the International Competition for Performing Musicians named after Meliton Balanchivadze
- Scholarship recipient at the IPM Festival 2024
- Recipient of the Toradze Foundation Scholarship at the 2023 L. Toradze International Music Festival
- Scholarship holder of the K. Vardeli Foundation Currently, she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire in the class of Associate Professor Manana Gotsiridze.
